Travel is expensive, especially tours and cruises. A cancellation or interruption of your trip can cause you to lose some or all of your prepaid trip expenses.Once you’ve paid your deposit or full payment, what will happen if:

You cancel or interrupt your trip because you or your family member or travel companion gets sick, injured or dies
Your tour operator, airline or cruise line declares bankruptcy
You need to cancel for any reason, such as:
1. A sudden business conflict
2. An unexpected medical issue
3. An unexpected delay in processing your Visa or Passport.

Additionally, an early interruption of your trip can cause you to lose more than your trip cost due to a last minute ticket purchase to return home early. If you’ve insured your full trip costs that are subject to cancellation penalties or restrictions, we can provide up to 150% reimbursement of that cost

Patriot Student T.R.I.P

With Patriot Student T.R.I.P., you may recover non-refundable, unused payments and deposits when a trip is cancelled or interrupted for a variety of reasons. This student travel insurance program is designed specifically for the student under age 26 and enrolled in school or summer camp, who may travel domestically or internationally.

Additional insurance benefits include coverage for travel delays, baggage delays, lost/stolen baggage and emergency medical treatment/evacuation.
